Cake Art was created in 1979 by Beth Henderson. Beth began her career in the bakery business in 1975 while attending Lansing Community College and majoring in Commercial Art. Following several years of working for one of the largest commercial bakeries in the Lansing, MI area, Beth began her own business baking and decorating cakes for special occasions. Over the years Cake Art has expanded into one of Lansing's foremost destinations for high quality, affordable wedding cakes. Cake Art is a state licensed commercial bakery specializing in wedding cakes and cakes for all occasions, serving the Mid-Michigan Area. Cake Art was given the "Best of Wedding" award for 2010 and 2011 for the Lansing, MI area by The Knot/Michigan Bridal Magazine.
